Make sure the knob on the gas valve is turned to the ON position and still not in the pilot position. If you have a volt meter check and see if you 24 volts across the terminals on the gas valve and also at the thermostat. If not check the transformer and see if you have 24 volts. You should have 120 volts on the primary and 24 volts on the secondary. Make sure it has the 120 volts to the unit.
