Packaging ideas for etsy?

I'm opening shop within the next 6 weeks and my items are ceramic, small and lightweight. (roughly 6" x 6") I'd like to have them ship in plain brown boxes BUT once that box is opened I dont just want my item sitting amidst bubble wrap or tissue paper, I was hoping to still have the item wrapped in something prettier within. The cost of a smaller box to sit within the big box is more than I'd like to spend and though my items are lightweight they are still too large and heavy for a home made box of cardstock, so I would really like any suggestions. Generally all of my research has come up with lovely ideas to ship jewelry and small trinkets. I'm wracking my brain all week on this and would like some outside opinions/advice?
