How long does it take for the dentist to put on ceramic braces?

i have ceramic braces and it takes the same amount of time as metal braces so about an hour or so. they arent painful to put on but your mouth will be sore afterwards. in my opinion they hurt less than metal because metal causes more pain to your cheeks and ceramic did hurt my cheeks but no nearly as much as metal would. but ceramics are pretty much the same process and everything as metal ones so good luck :)
