How to seal white tile?

I have white ceramic tile that is not smooth. It has little cuts in it where dirt and other debri seems to get stuck and makes the tile always look dirty. Even after we sweep and mop it still looks like we did nothing to it. My question is is there something out there I can clean it with and then seal it with so that we can have a clean floor? Or my least favorite option replace the tile?
